Personal Training Coming to You From Alaska
When you graduate high school with 900 people, you are bound to meet some great people, and Katie Solis is one of them. Not to mention, she was a superstar athlete and one of the nicest people you will ever meet.
Katie attended college in Hawaii and then made her way to Alaska and now runs an in-home personal fitness training business.
The above image is an image of the supplies she keeps with her in her car, which she posted on Facebook, and after seeing it, I asked her if she would provide some perspective for us! And here is what she had to say:

I’m an In-Home Personal Trainer in Fairbanks, Alaska, which basically means I make house calls and train people in their living rooms, offices, or at the park.
We do lots of strength and bodyweight exercises, High Intensity Interval Training, Tabata Protocol, kettlebells, free weights, TRX, etc…
I bring everything my clients might need, and also utilize any fitness equipment they already have. It’s great for busy men and women who don’t have time to get to the gym on a regular basis, or for anyone who wants to get away from the “gym scene.”
My clients can avoid things like being self conscious of working out in front of others, waiting for a cardio machine, and the hassle of getting to and from the gym. They have more accountability and I have few cancellations because I am going to show up on their doorstep ready to go with their workout – no excuses!
I also run a fitness boot camp, which adds a bit of competition and camaraderie at an affordable price.

You can check out Katie’s website here: http://solisfitness.com

So the next time you are in Fairbanks, give her a call!
I must say that I am tempted to take a trip out there just to see what a day in the life of Katie is like! Not to mention, I bet her boot camp is intense!
Anyone want to join me on a trip to Alaska?
